VFD POS

VFD offers a POS Infrastructure which powers transactions using our card infrastructure. Our smart routing system helps to ensure merchants are always able to collect payments from their customers. We provide a bundled POS and inventory management system that eases the process of receiving payment while also maintaining best practices in bookkeeping​. We have identified key needs where we can provide our POS Infrastructure services to merchants.

POS Integration​

PSL offers merchants with a card infrastructure for processing card transactions. Integration into our service can be done through two approaches:

  1. Utilizing the default POS application for your card transactions.
  2. Developing your own Custom POS application on top of our infrastructure.

Getting Started​

  1. To get started on the LUX platform, you will need to create a new LUX Profile by accessing this URL: https://trylux.africa/auth/register
  2. To set up your wallet profile for settlement, reach out to the PSL Integration Support team. During the process, you will need to provide a webhook, a settlement account for POS transactions, and specify the type of settlement you wish to configure for your profile.
  3. Please log in to the Lux dashboard and follow the instructions to upload the terminal data. For further guidance, please refer to POS Device management
  4. Before using the device, ensure to perform a key exchange.

Webhook Integration​

To enable integration, you will be required to set up a webhook, through which we will send webhook notifications to your system. The webhook needs to be manually configured against your wallet profile and must be a HTTP Post that accepts a request body in the following format:

Transaction Monitor​

Transactions executed on the LUX infrastructure can be viewed through the LUX portal, while transaction settlement and dispute escalations can be managed on the Baas Portal.
