Getting Started
Welcome to the PSL BaaS Platform.
PSL's Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform enables businesses (Aggregator and Fintechs) both to build and launch financial products using secure, scalable APIs. Whether you're building a fintech application, marketplace, ERP solution, agency banking platform, or embedded finance product, our APIs provide the infrastructure you need to move money, issue accounts, verify identities, accept payments, manage cards, and much more.
Our APIs are RESTful, easy to integrate, and designed to help you go from sandbox testing to production quickly.
What You Can Build
With PSL BaaS APIs, you can:
- Create and manage customer wallets
- Generate virtual accounts for collections
- Perform bank transfers and payouts

- Accept payments through multiple channels
- Issue and manage physical and virtual cards
- Process bill payments and airtime purchases
- Integrate POS and offline payment services

Whether you're launching a new financial product or embedding banking capabilities into an existing platform, VFD provides the APIs to power your business.
Before You Begin
To integrate successfully, you'll need:
- A registered VFD Bank account
- Access to the VBaaS Dashboard
- Your API credentials
Step 1: Create Your BaaS Account
Contact the VFD Business Team to begin your onboarding via Business@theproductstudiohq.com
During onboarding, our team will:
- Understand your use case
- Share the documents required for compliance and KYC review
- Provide the link to set up your business profile
- Enable the products applicable to your business
Once onboarding is complete, you'll be able to generate login credentials on your dashboard.
Step 2: Access the VBaaS Dashboard
The BaaS Dashboard is your central management console for all integrations.
From the dashboard you can:
- Manage your applications
- Generate and rotate API keys
- View Sandbox and Production credentials
- Configure webhooks
- Monitor API activity
- View transaction logs
- Manage settlement accounts
- Access reports
- Monitor account balances
- Track your integration status
Step 3: Get Your API Credentials
Every API request is authenticated using credentials generated from your VBaaS Dashboard.
Depending on the service you're integrating, your application will use credentials such as:
- Consumer Key
- Consumer Secret
- API Key
The steps to generate credential will be provided during onboarding.
Step 4: Choose Your Environment
VFD provides two environments.
Sandbox
Use Sandbox to:
- Build your integration
- Test API requests
- Simulate transactions
- Validate your application before launch
No real customer funds are processed in this environment.
Production
Once your integration has been certified by the VFD team, your application can be moved to Production where live customer transactions are processed.
Step 5: Make Your First API Request
All APIs are exposed over HTTPS and accept JSON requests.
A typical request includes:
- Authorization credentials
- Content-Type: application/json
- Request payload
Each endpoint in this documentation contains:
- Base URL
- Endpoint URL
- Required headers
- Request parameters
- Sample request
- Sample response
- Error codes
